The best reason to celebrate Christmas is the gifts. It is Santa’s job to bring gifts to good boys and girls. In 2022, Santa’s elves will need to make a ton of presents!

Overwhelming feelings of joy
This year my family decided to celebrate the holidays without a tree, but with lots of decorations and lights throughout the house. It was a nice change from what we were used to and made me realize just how much I love all of the decorating that goes into Christmas. I’m so excited for this holiday season, especially because it’s one of the last ones I’ll be spending with my grandparents before they retire in 2022. Christmas is such a special time of year, and it’s even more special when you can share it with loved ones.
Caroling
The caroling tradition originated with ancient Roman shepherds who would go from house to house singing songs and performing religious rituals in hopes of giving thanks for a bountiful harvest. Over the centuries, this tradition has evolved into the festive celebration we know today.
In America, people often gather to sing around the fireplace or tree on Christmas Eve or day. It is customary for children to go door-to-door singing carols in exchange for treats and trinkets such as gumdrops, chocolate coins, or even a tiny toy. The best melodies are those that have been passed down from generation to generation such as Silent Night.
The most famous of all holiday songs are undoubtedly Jingle Bells, written by James Pierpont in 1857.

Christmas is a time for people to forget about their anger, sadness, and differences. It’s a time of love and peace. It’s also a time for celebration! For many, it marks the end of the year with family and friends. In 2022, we will be celebrating our tenth anniversary of Christmas!

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year! There’s just something about getting together with family, friends, and loved ones to celebrate a season that has been so full of hope and love. As I think about what makes celebrating Christmas so special for me, I realized that it’s not just because of the gifts or the delicious food. It’s more than that. It’s because celebrating Christmastime is all about coming together in a difficult time to love each other through difficult situations.
