7 Fantasy Football Sleepers Who Could Win You Your League

7 Fantasy Football Sleepers Who Could Win You Your League, There are sleeper picks and then there are fantasy football sleepers. The difference between the two lies in their potential to change the trajectory of your season, so it’s important to know the difference between the two and how to spot them. In order to win your league, you’ll need to identify which of your players will exceed expectations this season, so pay close attention as we go over 7 fantasy football sleepers who could win you your league!

Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore RavensRavens quarterback Lamar Jackson is a hot name to look out for when it comes to fantasy football sleeper picks. After being selected in the first round of this year’s draft, many are expecting him to sit on the bench or serve as an emergency backup. But at some point, Ravens starter Joe Flacco will miss time with an injury and Jackson will enter the game.

He led all quarterbacks in rushing yards during his last season at Louisville and can be a force on both the ground and through the air when he gets his chance. Jackson has been getting many first-team reps during training camp but according to head coach John Harbaugh, that doesn’t mean anything because he just wants every one of his players prepared for their turn with more snaps than normal.

Miles Sanders, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Miles Sanders, RB, Philadelphia EaglesMiles Sanders is going to be a fantasy football sleeper. He played as the backup running back to Jay Ajayi last year and was productive when given opportunities. If Jay Ajayi gets traded or leaves in free agency, Miles Sanders will be the guy to replace him.

He’s a sleeper because he’s not getting much attention right now due to his backup role, but once he becomes more of a focal point, fantasy players will start taking notice. I’m predicting that by week 10 Sanders will have emerged as one of the best running backs in the NFL, and there won’t be enough people left playing fantasy football for him to remain a sleeper for long.

Devin Singletary, RB, Buffalo Bills

Devin Singletary, RB, Buffalo BillsThe Bills were a fantasy football sleeper team heading into the season. They had LeSean McCoy, one of the best running backs in the league, and Corey Clement, a solid backup. In addition to that, they also had Josh Allen as their starting quarterback. Josh Allen came out strong for the first few weeks but then fell off hard and was benched with Nathan Peterman taking over at QB. With this in mind, Nathan Peterman is now a must-add on all fantasy teams while there are still some available waiver spots left.

A.J. Brown, WR, Tennessee Titans

A.J. Brown, WR, Tennessee TitansA.J. Brown is a rookie wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans, and he is quickly making an impact in the NFL with his impressive speed and athleticism. Brown had a breakout game against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night where he caught two touchdowns and totaled 133 yards receiving.

In his first four games, he has 42 catches for 604 yards and five touchdowns. He will be one of the top fantasy football sleepers heading into Week 5 against Jacksonville Jaguars on October 13th where he should have another productive day because of his deep-threat ability to beat defenses downfield with his speed which will open up opportunities to make big plays downfield in space.

Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Redskins

Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington RedskinsTerry McLaurin is one of the Redskins fantasy football sleepers. Last season, he was second in receiving for the Ohio State Buckeyes and finished off with 81 receptions and 1161 yards. This season with Dwayne Haskins at quarterback, Terry McLaurin has improved his stats this year, but not by much (58 receptions and 741 yards).

He does have five touchdowns so far this season compared to only two from last year. Terry McLaurin will be drafted in rounds 10-12 so act fast if you want him on your team!

Terry is also an excellent kick returner. He’s fifth all-time in kick return yards and holds records for kick returns, kick return touchdowns, punt returns and punt returns touchdowns with Ohio State Buckeyes.

Hunter Henry, TE, Los Angeles Chargers

Hunter Henry, TE, Los Angeles ChargersHunter Henry is a solid TE option to target. He has been in the league for two years, but he is coming off a season where he caught 47 passes for 579 yards and four touchdowns. The Chargers are missing Danny Woodhead, so there should be plenty of targets for him to catch balls from Phillip Rivers. Henry has the potential to have a breakout season and put up big numbers that would make him one of the best fantasy football sleepers on this list.

Darren Waller, TE, Oakland Raiders

Darren Waller, TE, Oakland RaidersDarren Waller has been a fantasy football sleeper for years and this season is no different. The Raiders acquired him in the offseason, but he’s still buried on the depth chart behind Jared Cook and Lee Smith. But if one of them were to go down, which is more likely than not, then Waller would be the top tight end on the team. He’s worth a look at with his ADP (average draft position) hovering around the 14th round.
